Nine years making software feel obvious.

I'm a UX designer based in Bangalore. For nine years I've been working on the messy, multi-screen products that real businesses actually run on. Fintech, AI tooling, internal admin. The work is less about pixels than about choosing what the screen shouldn't say.

Altios: design and code, one surface.

A self-initiated 2025 concept for a unified canvas where visual design, component logic and AI assistance share the same workspace. Today most teams play telephone across Figma, Storybook and Jira. Altios proposes a single surface so a team's intent reaches the build without three rounds of translation.

Role Concept lead, end to end
Type Self-initiated exploration
Year 2025

Wenplus: investing, made legible.

A 2025 redesign of an investment advisor subscription product. End users compare three tiers (Base, Premium, Executive), pick one and get matched to an advisor without feeling lost. Operations get an admin dashboard to triage requests and assign advisors. Both surfaces designed as a single system.

What I'm hired for.

a · 01

UX Research

Generative interviews, diary studies, contextual inquiry, and the kind of synthesis that produces decisions instead of slide decks.

a · 02

Information Architecture

Card sorts, taxonomies, content audits, and the often thankless work of making a product navigable in the language its users actually use.

Interaction Design

Flows, states, micro-interactions, motion. The difference between a usable app and one that feels well mannered is mostly here.

FIGMA · RIVE · PLAY

Design Systems

Tokens, components, governance, and the political work of getting a 30-person product team to use the same button.

Prototyping

From paper to React. I keep a working knowledge of front-end so prototypes arrive testable, not theatrical.

Facilitation

Kickoffs, design reviews, JTBD workshops, executive alignment. Quietly opinionated. Loudly listening.

03 · Process

Slow first. Then fast.

/01

Listen longer than feels comfortable.

Two weeks of interviews before a single Figma frame. The point isn't to confirm what the team already believes. It's to find the thing nobody can quite say yet, the thing that becomes the brief.

/02

Frame the problem in one sentence.

If we can't, we don't yet know it. A good frame is testable, falsifiable, and short enough to fit on the back of a meeting invite. The frame is the only deliverable that matters in week one.

/03

Sketch cheap. Build less.

Ten paper flows beat one polished mock. We test the structure before we test the surface, and we kill ideas in pencil rather than in production. Velocity is a side-effect of good early discipline.

/04

Refine until the seams disappear.

The last 20% is the work. Empty states, error copy, loading rhythms, the tone of a confirmation dialog at 11pm. This is where products earn the right to be used twice.

Who's behind this.

A

I'm a UX designer based in Bangalore. For nine years I've been working on the messy, multi-screen products that real businesses actually run on. Fintech, AI tooling, internal admin. The work is less about pixels than about choosing what the screen shouldn't say.

I work alone or as the senior designer inside a small product team. I prefer engagements of three months or longer, where there's time to do research properly and ship something I'd defend at a dinner party.
